SAAC Show at Ford World Headquarters

On June 2, 2002, the Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC) held their annual Ford show in the parking lot of Ford World Headquarters. Five members of our 71 429 Mustang/Cougar Group were on hand with their cars to participate.

We were lucky to have near-perfect weather for this show. Last year it was cloudy and looked like rain, which kept about half the cars from coming.
Soon to be member Mike Troell brought his Grabber Yellow 429 CJ Mach 1.
I finally got to see Dan Schott's 73 429 CJ equipped Convertible.
Scott Fairchild brought his Light Pewter Metallic 429 CJ Mach 1 and parked it next to mine, which is the same color!
Dan Davis came by with his 429 CJ Cougar.	My 429 SCJ Mach 1
This is Bob Wilson's beautiful concours Boss 351. I took nearly a whole role of film on this car. In addition, Bob has e-mailed me loads of photos of original components for use on the 429 Megasite.	Couldn't resist taking a shot of this rare sight with so many 429 Ram Air Hoods lined up!	Group photo, left to right, John Blair, Dan Schott, Mike Troell, Dan Davis and Scott Fairchild.
